HSC tutor

HSC or Higher School Certificate is a highly recognized certification awarded to students after passing an examination held at the end of secondary school in New South Wales, Australia. It is a make or break process that determines a student’s eligibility to take up a certain course, enter a prestigious university, or acquire a decent job in the future. Since HSC is so important, hiring an HSC tutor can help you overcome the complexities of HSC.

During the last two years of high school (years 11 and 12), students are advised to take up HSC related courses for them to be well- ready. As a rule to be awarded with HSC, students must complete at least 12 preliminary units in year 11 and 10 HSC units in year 12. While there is a huge selection of subject areas ranging from Agriculture, History, Drama, Economics, Engineering, Legal Studies, etc., English is compulsory which should include at least 2 units. There are also Vocational Education and Training courses such as Accounting, Marketing, Aviation, Hairdressing, Tourism, and more offered by the Board of Studies.

The final scores of students would consist of 50% from in- school assessments and 50% from the final HSC examinations held yearly. You will be assigned band scores, ranging from Bands 1 to 6, with 6 having grades between 90-100 and 1 having below 50.

It can be a very wise decision to hire an HSC tutor early before the HSC years, so your skill levels could be assessed immediately. It is not only a way to determine your strengths and settle on them, but also to conquer your weaknesses, especially if you have difficulty in English, which is a subject you can’t escape.
With the help of an HSC tutor, you can gain a headstart and a pretty good overview of what to expect of the actual HSC exam.
